My PoemHere I Stand Again
Screaming at the top
of my lungs, my voice
echoing endlessly back
at me.
Staring at my reflection
in the mirror, only to see
a black, hollow soul who
knows neither joy nor
sadness.
Feels like I'm stuck in this
dim gray twilight for eternity.
Should I smile or cry? It is
as if you're falling down a
deep black hole, where one
cannot see the bottom.
So what now, I ask myself,
what's next? If I knew the answer
to that question I wouldn't
be standing here again.
